The Magic Returns! Announcing Our 2026 Dates & A Look to the Future

Greetings, our dearest Fae-mily,

As the summer sun begins its slow fade into autumn, our team has been reflecting on the incredible magic we created together this past April. The first-ever Faerie & Fantasy Faire was more than we could have ever dreamed of. To everyone who walked through our doors with open hearts and wondrous costumes, to every artist who shared their creations in the Goblin Market, and to every performer who filled the halls with music and laughter—thank you. You are the heart of this community.

As the pixie dust settled, we spent our summer reading every comment, email, and suggestion you sent our way. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and our hearts are so full knowing that the Faire brought so much joy. But we also heard a consistent and important piece of feedback: as magical as it was, it got a little crowded!

It's a wonderful problem to have, but it's one we knew we had to address. Your comfort and ability to enjoy the experience to its fullest is our absolute top priority.

Your Wishes Have Been Granted: More Magic, More Space, and More Time!

With your feedback as our compass, we are thrilled to officially announce that the 2nd Annual Faerie & Fantasy Faire will return to the Mary Winspear Centre on March 28th and 29th, 2026!

To ensure everyone has the best experience possible, we are making some big and exciting changes this year:

  1. We're expanding to a full two-day festival! That’s right, a whole weekend of enchantment. This will give everyone more time to explore, shop, and play, naturally spreading out the crowds and creating a more relaxed atmosphere.

  2. We’re taking over more of the venue! We have secured additional rooms within the Mary Winspear Centre, giving us more space to spread our wings.

  3. The Goblin Market is getting a major upgrade! We are relocating several key activities from the main Bodine Hall. This means the hall will be dedicated exclusively to our incredible vendors, allowing us to create wider aisles and a more comfortable shopping experience. Activities like the Wee-Folk Grove will now have their own dedicated room, giving our littlest fae more space to create and play.

Dreaming of a Future Under the Sun and Stars

With all that said, your incredible support has us dreaming even bigger. We want to continue to grow this event, adding more performers, more interactive elements, and more magic. To do that, we need more room to stretch our branches.

For that reason, we believe that the 2026 Faire will likely be our last year at the wonderful Mary Winspear Centre. We are already exploring stunning new venues for 2027 and beyond, with a special focus on finding the perfect outdoor location. After all, faeries belong in the great outdoors, am I right?

Your enthusiasm has given us the courage to grow from a fledgling idea into a festival with a bright, open future.

For now, our entire focus is on making the 2026 Faerie & Fantasy Faire the most enchanting and comfortable experience yet. So please, save the dates of March 28th and 29th, 2026, and prepare for another journey into a world of wonder.

Stay tuned for more updates on tickets and vendor applications in the coming months!

Yours in Magic,

Alison & the 4 Wands Faerie Events Team
