We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome you to the enchanting world of 4 Wands Faerie Events! To ensure everyone has a magical and safe experience, 4 Wands has a few important policies that must be followed. These are in place for the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all attendees. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in helping make our fairies and festivals a place where everyone can celebrate the wonders of fantasy.
Please note that our events are a safe space for all, and we do not tolerate any mistreatment or discrimination of any kind.

Code of Conduct:
Respect and Inclusivity: At all 4 Wands Faerie Events, we gather in celebration of our shared love of fantasy, where kindness and respect are at the heart of everything. Attendees are expected to adhere to common-sense rules for public behaviour, respectful personal interactions, courtesy, and the protection of private property. Harassment or offensive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. 4 Wands Faerie Events reserves the right to revoke attendance, without refund, for anyone violating these policies. Anti-Harassment : If you feel your safety is at risk, or if you observe someone not complying with our policies, please immediately locate the nearest security or event staff member. We are committed to handling these matters promptly and ensuring everyone’s safety. If you are being harassed, notice harassment happening to someone else, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of our Event staff right away. We are here to help and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments or actions related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, inappropriate photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. This anti-harassment policy applies to all individuals involved in the event, including Management, Talent, Vendors, Sponsors, Volunteers, and Attendees. Attendees who are asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event without refund and potential referral to law enforcement.
Costume Policy:
4 Wands Faerie Events is a family-friendly event. To ensure the comfort and safety of all attendees, we reserve the right to reject any costume at any time for any reason. Below is a list of costume guidelines for clarity: Costume Inspection: 4 Wands Faerie Events reserves the right to inspect all costumes and props on an individual basis in order to ensure that the event remains completely safe and family-friendly. Compliance with Local Laws: All costumes must adhere to local laws and regulations. Family-Friendly Costumes: 4 Wands Faerie Events is a family-friendly event. Costumes that are vulgar, include nudity, body paint, sheer material as clothing, or any form of nudity are not permitted. The absence of clothing or costume does not constitute a costume, and nudity is strictly prohibited at all times. All costumes must cover appropriate areas of the body with opaque fabric. Opaque bodysuits simulating nudity are not allowed. Costumes deemed too revealing, at the sole discretion of 4 Wands Faerie Events staff, will require the attendee to leave the event. Footwear: Bare feet are not permitted at the event. Costume Safety: Sharp protrusions, spikes, or anything that could cause harm to others are not allowed. No real firearms, knives, or swords are allowed. Any replica firearm or weapon props must appear harmless to the average attendee and should not look realistic or threatening. Weapons: Replica swords, if part of your costume, must be securely attached to the costume and may not be unsheathed or pointed at anyone. Projectiles, laser pointers, or high-intensity lights (that could harm eyes) are not allowed. Any real weapons purchased or won at a 4 Wands Faerie Event that would normally be prohibited by the weapons policy, such as pocket knives, swords, etc., must remain in their original packaging. Prop Inspection: All costume props will be inspected by our Prop Safety Officers. The final approval of costume props will be at their sole discretion. Prop Compliance: If you do not wish to have your costume or prop inspected or tagged, or if you are unwilling to comply with these policies, please do not bring your costume or prop to 4 Wands Faerie Events. No signs making requests to be hugged/touched, etc. We want everyone to feel comfortable.
Prohibited Items:
No functioning props or weapons are allowed No real firearms, knives or swords are permitted at the Event No Alcohol or alcoholic beverages are allowed No drones No fireworks No pets (excluding service animals)Â No Smoking, Including E-cigarettes and Vaping Products and Devices No recording devices are allowed during panels or classes, This includes any recording device, whether digital, analog, or otherwise, including Google Glass, Snapchat Specs, or any wearable cameras No Scooters, bicycles, Segways, roller blades, roller skates, or skateboards
Consent to Filming and Photography:
By attending 4 Wands Faerie Events, attendees acknowledge and consent to being filmed, photographed, or otherwise recorded as a condition of participation. By entering the event premises, each attendee relinquishes any reasonable expectation of privacy and grants 4 Wands Faerie Events a royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, publish, and exploit any photographs, videos, motion pictures, images, recordings, or any other record of their attendance, in whole or in part, for promotional or commercial purposes. Consent for Photography and Interactions: At 4 Wands Faerie Events, we prioritize respect and consent for all attendees. Photography and any other form of recording or interaction with individuals are only permitted with their explicit consent. Before taking any photos, videos, or engaging with anyone for commercial or personal purposes, please ensure you have received clear and voluntary consent from the person involved. This policy applies to both attendees and staff members. ​ We expect all attendees to respect each other's personal space and privacy. Any behavior or actions that violate these principles, including taking photos or engaging with others without their consent, will not be tolerated. Photography and Video Recording Guidelines: Autograph and Photo Op Areas: Attendees are prohibited from taking photos or recording videos in the autograph and photo op areas. Non-Commercial Photography: Non-commercial photography and filming for personal use, including on social media, are allowed in non-restricted areas, provided it does not disrupt the event or other attendees. Professional Photography: Professional photography, video recording, and drone photography are strictly prohibited at the event unless expressly approved in writing by 4 Wands Faerie Events. Press and Event Photographers: Only registered members of the press or designated Event Photographers, who have received proper credentials from 4 Wands Faerie Events in advance, are permitted to take professional photographs or video recordings during the event.
