THE QUEST FOR THORNWOOD ISLE

Last year, the brave warriors of Thornwood rescued Princess Adelaide from the dark Fir Bolgh. Having proven her strength and heart, she was crowned Queen Adelaide. But peace is fleeting.​
As we gather to celebrate, shadows have fallen once more. Prince Eldrayne, the Queen’s dear ally and love, has been kidnapped by a marauding horde of Goblins! Queen Adelaide has called upon you—the Defenders of the Realm—to help rescue the Prince and restore light to the Isle.

How to Join the Hunt
​
To defeat the Goblins, you must gather ancient spells and charms to empower your quest.

Find the Tomes: Search the Vendor Hall. Hidden among the merchant tables are magical tomes containing the locations of the charms.

Collect the Spells: Each day features 5 unique charms (10 total for the weekend). Use the riddles below to find them!

Forge Your Artifact: Once you’ve collected a set of 5, head to the Wee Folk Grove to string them into a powerful handmade bracelet.

Win Your Reward: Return your completed quest to admissions or info booth to be entered in a prize draw for tickets to next year’s Faire!

the charm is found
in roots aground.
In strike of steel,
and cold iron feel.
In faery bane
is charm and chain
In winds of change
the clouds arrange.
The charmed one flies
in crystal skies
Sunday: The Final Five
Through spirit eye,
and spirit guide,
the charm comes from
the Otherside.
Petals blossom,
flower unfolds.
A charming story,
this one holds.
Fibula, Tibia,
Mandible too.
The bones together,
a charm for you.
The cat did prowl
through Paris lanes.
The cat is gone
but its shadow remains.
The candle glows,
its light unbroken
From this shine,
a useful token.
Keep your eyes peeled! Actors will appear throughout the day to reveal the unfolding story. Be ready, Defenders—the fate of Prince Eldrayne is in your hands!
